I have so much fun at every lesson! Taisia explains everything in such a simple and accessible way, which helped me get it right away.
I’ve never enjoyed playing the piano this much before. Thank you, Taisia!

Lessons details

01

Kindergarten and 1st grade (6-7y)

Lessons are interactive and go more like music lesson. I emphasize the development of a sense of rhythm and musical ear such as interactive and rhythmic games, duets, music tales as well as singing simple songs to develop coordination of ear and voice

03

02

Elementary school (7-11y)

We play on the piano as well as study music notation. I emphasize freedom of hands, understanding of music notation and development of abstract thinking.  Some while I add playing by ear and improvisation to the lessons

Middle school (11-14y)

We develop a technique. I emphasize the development of technique, sight-reading as well as continuing to understand music theory more deeply

05

Adults

04

High school (14-18y)

We develop artistic thinking. I emphasize the transfer of the artistic idea of the piece from historical and personal retrospective through dynamics, phrasing, intonation, and individual sound production (touche)

We play favourite song of any style.
I adjust what level the songs fit.
If student preferred we learn musical notation or play by ear.
If student learning from scratch,  lesson goes: 15 min of theory, 10 min of technique warm-ups, 35 min of playing favourite music pieces.

If student has several years of background, lesson goes like: 15 min of technique warm-ups and 45 min of playing favourite pieces
